May 5, 2025Over the past decade or so, my work has predominantly involved capturing the unique essence of people, particularly those with distinct characteristics, a personal sense of style, and compelling stories to tell – often highlighting those on the fringes of society.
In a world where mainstream media frequently emphasises a narrow definition of beauty and success, I’m driven by a desire to challenge these norms and celebrate the diversity of human experience.
By engaging with those considered to be on the fringes of society, I aim to not only highlight their unique stories but also foster a deeper understanding of the complexities that shape our communities.
These narratives enrich our collective humanity, encouraging empathy and connection in an increasingly fragmented world.
My deep-rooted interest in learning from others fuels this journey, as I strive to uncover the reasoning behind their choices and express their essence through my lens.
In line with this mission, I’m eager to continue exploring and photographing these incredible individuals to expand my body of work.
